Our aim is to create Ireland’s premiere Urban Sports centre offering a high quality product and service for anyone interested in developing their skills in alternative sports or anyone who wants to try something new and have some fun - all  set within a supportive and safe environment. We also hope that the centre will help to create future Urban Sporting Champions as well as be utilised as a venue to help young people to develop positive life skills and inspire change. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Eddie Irvine Sports for their support in helping to make the dream of Thunder Park a reality.”

Supporting the launch of Thunder Park, Thomas Fegan, Centre Director of Eddie Irvine Sports added:

“Eddie Irvine Sports are delighted to be partnering with Thunder Action Sports and to bring another first to Northern Ireland. Having brought Karting, Paintball, 3G Football, Laser Combat, Padel Tennis, Bubble Football, Formula 1 Simulators and Moto Gp Simulators to our customers we are now delighted to be combining forces with Matt and his team of experts to introduce the biggest and best Indoor BMX and Skate park in Ireland.”

Also supporting the announcement Mayor of Ards and North Down, Councillor Robert Adair, said:

“I am really excited to see Eddie Irvine Sports extend their already fantastic facilities to include Thunder Park. It is something unique to the borough providing a safe environment for young people where they can enjoy themselves and meet likeminded peers, a place in which to practice and hone their skills, and where they can learn something new. I am sure it will not only draw in local residents but many from outside the area, especially with the added attraction of the Thunder Action Sports stunt team.”
